{"id":1684,"date":"2022-09-09T16:13:34","date_gmt":"2022-09-09T16:13:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arsiunelearning.net\/newweb\/?page_id=1684"},"modified":"2022-09-09T16:13:35","modified_gmt":"2022-09-09T16:13:35","slug":"afaan-oromoo-and-literature-overview","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/arsiunelearning.net\/newweb\/afaan-oromoo-and-literature-overview\/","title":{"rendered":"Afaan Oromoo\u00a0 and  Literature Overview"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\"><a><strong>Objective of &nbsp;BA program<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">The general objective of the program is to train and produce well qualified and efficient Afaan Oromoo and Literature professionals who are capable of working in different institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">Graduate profile<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">Afaan Oromoo and Literature and &nbsp;graduates are expected to<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-list\"><li>comprehend, analyze, review, and interpret different Afaan Oromoo texts<\/li><li>teach Afaan Oromoo and literature primarily in high schools if they take PGDT<sup>3<\/sup> courses<\/li><li>provide guidance and consultancy services in their field of specialization to regional as well as national educational institutions and culture bureau;<\/li><li>translate spoken Afaan Oromoo and written texts from source language to target language and vice versa<\/li><li>conduct research on problems and issues pertaining to language and literature teaching<\/li><li>Scrutinize, collect, and organize Oromo Literature.<\/li><li>write letters, memos, reports, minutes, biographies, autobiography and varies things<\/li><li>Analyse, interpret and evaluate Oromo prose fictions.<\/li><li>write, edit, evaluate, act and direct verse and drama.<\/li><li>participate on language planning and standardization process<\/li><li>collect, write, edit and report news for broad cast and print media<\/li><li>create good rapport between public and organizations.<\/li><li>write and present varies imaginative work.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\"><strong>Teaching and learning method<\/strong><strong> Teaching\/Learning Methods and Mode of Delivery<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">the teaching methods used are basically student centred to enable students to acquire knowledge and to develop their language skills. Therefore, Group discussions, Different project works, Different individual and group assignments, Interactive lectures, Paperworks and ClassPresentations are used to deliver the content properly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\"><strong>Program duration<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">The Afaan Oromoo and Literature program will take four year duration (including freshman courses) to be completed at a regular program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\"><strong>Assessment method<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">Students will be assessed both on continuous and final examination basis.
